Support Bike-Demo.com
Bike-Demo.com exists to make it easier for riders to find demo events, discover local trails, and make informed decisions about their next bike. None of that happens without community involvement. Here is how you can help.
This site is independently run. There are no subscription fees, no paywalls, and no algorithm deciding which brands get top placement. Keeping it that way depends on people who care about the mountain bike community contributing their time, expertise, or resources. Whether you want to submit an event listing, share your local trail knowledge, or put your business name behind content your customers already read, there is a place for you here.
Submit Event Information
The simplest way to contribute is to let us know about a demo event that is not yet listed. Brand reps, shop staff, event organizers, and everyday riders are all welcome to submit events. If you know of an upcoming demo day, bike festival, or brand test-ride event that should be on the calendar, use the contact form below.
Include the brand or brands involved, the date, the location, and any registration or sign-up details you have. We will verify and add it to the listings.
Free and appreciated.
Event submissions are always free. The more complete the listing, the more useful it is to riders planning their schedule.
Contribute Trail Guide Content
The best trail guides come from people who actually ride the trails. If you have deep knowledge of a trail system that is relevant to the mountain bike demo community, we want to hear from you. This could mean a well-developed trail network near a major demo venue, a destination worth traveling to for riding, or a region that is underrepresented in existing online coverage.
Contributors receive a byline and a link to their site or social profile. Content should be practical, accurate, and written for riders who may be visiting the area for the first time. No promotional language, no brand placement, just useful information.
Reach out via the form below with a brief pitch: the trail system you want to cover, your connection to it, and a rough outline of what you would include.
Trail Guide Sponsorship
Trail guide sponsorships are the primary way local and regional businesses support this site. A sponsor receives a named credit block at the bottom of one or more trail guide pages, visible to every rider who reads that guide.
This works best for businesses with a clear geographic connection to the trail system. Local bike shops, outdoor retailers, lodging, shuttle services, and other businesses that serve the riding community are a natural fit. Businesses outside the MTB industry are also welcome, provided they operate in the same region as the guide.
What Is Included
- Named credit on the sponsored guide page or pages
- Link to your business website from the sponsor block
- Brief description of your business (written collaboratively)
- Listing in the Current Supporters section on this page
Sponsorships are priced per guide, with discounts available for multi-guide placements. Use the contact form to inquire about current availability and pricing for specific guides.
Direct Contribution
If you want to support the site without a specific sponsorship placement, direct contributions help cover hosting, development, and the time that goes into maintaining event listings and writing guides. There is no formal tier or membership structure for this type of support.
Direct contributors are listed by name in the Current Supporters section below, if they wish to be recognized publicly. Use the contact form to get in touch and we will sort out the details from there.
What Supporters Receive
Depending on the type of support, contributors and sponsors may receive any combination of the following:
- →Listing in the Current Supporters section on this page, with a link to your site or profile
- →Named credit on the sponsored trail guide or event page, visible to every reader of that content
- →A contextual link to your business from relevant content pages
